On 9 May 2018, His Excellency Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand, presented the Letter of Credentials to His Excellency Mr. Joseph Kabila, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This ceremony marks the official appointment of His Excellency Mr. Atthakor as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with residence in Nairobi. Following the presentation of credentials, the two sides discussed the ways to further enhance bilateral relations between the two countries, including in the areas of technical cooperation, trade and investment.
